Fuji: Sierra’s IES pattern scaled to 48,000 lm, then widened to estimate 980 m² at a 5-lux boundary, at 3.8 m. This is a calibrated proxy, not measured Fuji photometry.

Estimated illumination

The IES-based ground distribution is widened and its intensity reduced by the square of the widening factor, preserving integrated ground light. Calibration uses one tower, full output, maximum mast height, a 360° arrangement and the default head tilt (55° Fuji/Sierra; 0° Atlas). It is an approximate planning model, not a new photometric test.

Screen brightness and scene objects are illustrative. Calculations assume flat, unobstructed ground, without shadows, reflections, daylight or light-loss allowance. Scene objects do not block the calculated light. Point readings use the calibrated distribution; dimming scales illumination linearly.

Covered area is clipped to your site at the selected target. The rated setup uses a precise 5-lux contour; other configurations use an interpolated grid. Average, minimum and maximum illumination are grid samples. Changing height, aiming, placement or output changes the result. Distance is measured from the nearest tower within the site. The green outline always marks 5 lux, even when you select another target.

At the same output setting, changing the power source does not change this lighting calculation. Battery runtime is not calculated.

Manufacturer product information

Fuji: Sierra’s IES pattern scaled to 48,000 lm, then widened to estimate 980 m² at a 5-lux boundary, at 3.8 m. This is a calibrated proxy, not measured Fuji photometry.

Sierra: four PLT-200 IES heads, 112,000 lm total. The modeled spread is widened to estimate 2,200 m² at a 5-lux boundary, at 5.1 m.

Atlas: four MFX-310 Dark Sky IES heads, 173,472 lm total from the file. The modeled spread is calibrated to estimate 4,296 m² at a 5-lux boundary, at 7.1 m. The catalog lists 168,000 lm; the simulator retains the supplied IES profile.
